When classic Caribbean combinations come together: pineapple and rum, lime and coke, and a Cuban with a cigar – you know this is 100% the kind of session you can expect to see in Miami’s Calle Ocho. Even if we wouldn’t of been there for the sake of taking pictures, you can witness a similar scene: grandpa sitting at Domino Park with cigar in hand battling out his afternoon domino game. Tourist walking the streets and sitting in the restaurant bars with mojitos and pina coladas taking in the warm weather and let’s not forget that after dessert a meal isn’t complete without your shot of ‘cafecito’. Julie and Mike decided to play homage to their roots and plan a session that highlighted the cultural things they love. It was in the busy streets of Little Havana that we roamed and explored this tight-knit community we live in. For Mike and Julie, this wasn’t the traditional engagement photo shoot at the beach or a park because they wanted to feel as if I was just tagging along on a weekend date. Once the sun was about to set, we headed towards their backyard downtown to fully commemorate this stage in life their in. In just a couple of months they’ll be tying the knot and I can’t wait to see how these two rivals bring together their families to party the way only us Miamians can.
Omg I looove the Miami Styled photos!!! That idea was so original and different. Love it!! 😍❤️
