Matheson Hammock Picnic Engagement Session

High school sweetheart stories are amongst my absolute favorite love tales of all time. My next couple have more memories to share of the time they were together than recollection of before that time. After five years of being together, Damian planned a dream proposal for Juliet. He brought her to Bill Baggs State Park and had already decorated all the steps up the lighthouse with pictures of them through the years. I could only imagine the anticipation Juliet must of felt to reach the top awaiting the big moment. Once they reached the balcony, in the tightest of spaces, Damian asked her the one question she knew she would automatically say yes to. And as if that wasn’t enough of a grand idea, Damian had his brother flying a drone capturing the whole scene! This is definitely my kind of groom!! Such a thoughtful, romantic and original idea for that special lady that will always be in his life. Proposal envy.. 100%

Watching them together early that morning during our session felt as if they had already become one a very long time ago. We weren’t having a portrait session, not at all. We were just watching them be together… cute and sweet time and time again. I can’t wait until December comes around to see you both become Mr. & Mrs. I had a feeling the day we met that I would be very excited to work with you and after our session together, I can’t wait to celebrate with you! We then took a little break from the beach to have a picnic in the park under the moss covered oak trees. Wine at 9 am… no biggie.
