Hi there friends! I hope you all are keeping safe as we await hurricane Irma. Whether you are staying in your homes or have evacuated to the nearby states for safety, you are all in my prayers. As for us, we have made all the necessary preparations to protect our home and our family and can’t wait for this storm to pass. Our weekend sessions were postponed and hopefully we will be able to continue with next week’s plans. Since the storm warning has kept us bunkered home, I have had time to catch up with my editing and would love to share with you my latest family beach session. This sweet mom contacted me all the way from Texas about having a session while they were on vacation here in South Florida. A great idea for those families that don’t live near the coast and that would love a beach scene for their portraits. On a lovely morning I headed out to meet them at the hotel they were staying in and we enjoyed watching the beautiful sunrise together. I hope my new friends found their home in Texas okay after the recent hurricane Harvey. Hurricane season… can’t wait for it to be over for all of us! Soon it will be fall and we will be having the best days of the year… cool sunny days, less humidity, beautiful sunsets and pumpkin spice (yes, ode to Starbucks!)
