“Being a mother has been a blessing in so many ways. Almost ten years ago I learned the kind of love that I never knew existed. I am grateful to have felt that kind of love three different times. My children teach me new things everyday, whether is to stop and appreciate the little things in life or they actually teach me about something I had no clue about. ย They are each loving, funny and kind in their own little way. ..a kind of way only a mother understands. Being able to witness how each of their characters develop everyday is a gift that I don’t take for granted. ย At times challenging but with my best friend by my side we make the best of it and there is nothing I would change for the world.”
Every time I meet families of three I feel like they are so complete. It makes me wish for one more in our own family. I don’t know, it’s all about being outnumbered by the children. Growing up for the most part as an only child made me want a larger family. I used to tell my mom I was going to have ten kids so that they would always have someone to play with. Of course when my brother Sam came along when I was eleven years old, I had my someone to play with and my mother finally got the needy child under control. Sam was now my baby and mom had all the help she could ever ask for. Ingrid has herself two amazing little helpers. I could tell from our session that in just a few years Ali will run the show, but for now its the cutest thing to watch how she steals all the attention with her beautiful brown eyes. We explored Bill Baggs Park for our session and had a lovely afternoon together as the sun tucked in for the day. It had been long over due since these guys had all stepped in front of camera for family pictures and I’m so glad I was there to document this stage in their life.
