Awaiting Baby Maddison

Baby fever… it’s a real thing. And I hope that I’m not in the process of catching it! With so many little cute ones being born amongst my friends and their friends, and random people Instagram keeps suggesting I follow, it’s no wonder that I start hugging my imaginary belly once again. A couple of weeks ago I had the greatest time photographing soon-to-be parents Meghan and Michael and as I edited these images I couldn’t help but miss that beautiful stage they are now in. Sure there are times that as pregnant women we don’t feel all that beautiful because 1) extra weight 2) hormones discomfort [aka – morning sickness or all day sickness] 3) back pain 4) all other sorts of things that happen to us that make us feel strangers in our own bodies but if your able to set all those things aside, I strongly believe we women feel the most WOMEN in our lives when we have a little one growing inside of us. Something that no one else can do. We’re growing a human. Pretty badass if you ask me. These next images are new favorites for the motherhood group, it seem like ages ago since my last maternity session. I blame it on all the brides and wedding season.
