Deauville Beach Resort Beachfront Wedding

After shooting Maylin and Yadin’s engagements in Naples, something about that session had me thinking we would also have the privilege of documenting their wedding. And so we did. Maylin and I discussed all of the little details she wanted captured during their big day ( the most important one being the look of Yadin’s face watching her walk down the aisle [whether he would cry or not] ) to the lighting that time of day, the make up she wanted, all the vendors she was going to have… I remember going bit by bit with her as if it was just now. All I was hoping for was a pretty day since I knew she really wanted a beachfront wedding and that my friends is exactly what she got.

On the most beautiful day here in Miami, Yadin & Maylin set out to join their lives forever by the ocean at the Deauville Beach Resort. The nerves and jitters were hitting Maylin really hard as she waited for the ceremony time to arrive. I loved how the simple mention of chocolate was the key to easing up her tension, I mean everyone loves chocolate right? But quite honestly she had nothing to worry about because once Daylin was done getting her ready she was such a stunning bride. So so pretty. Taking her bridal photos was such a dream. The ceremony was quite one of the most memorable I have ever attended and it will probably continue to be throughout the years. And I want to share this with you just so that all you future brides learn a little bit from Maylin. During the ceremony at the point in time that the rings were to be exchanged Maylin and Yadin realized that the ring boy had somehow lost one. A most important one, her engagement ring. Shocking I know. But the show kept rolling and although I am pretty sure they were both freaking out the continued the ceremony gracefully. Once it was over, Maylin went on to greet her guests and give everyone hugs and kisses. I was right there photographing her when someone (see picture below) found the ring. LUCKILY someone found the ring. By some miracle of God in all of that sand, someone found the ring. I think that deserves another mention… boy was everyone happy. That my friends became the story of the night, the story of how they almost lost ‘the ring’.

Maylin & Yadin the rest of the night focused on what mattered most to them, each other and their family and friends. They danced the night away and kept singing until the banquet hall literally told us to leave. Samuel and I had one very long day but it was all worth it in the end because we were able to capture these sweet memories of that most important day in your lives. The beginning of forever. I hope every time you look these images over they make you smile and cry and relive that day that was literally crazy at times. We love you guys and hope you are having an amazing time right now on your honeymoon.
