Before you scroll down, this isn’t a messy ice-cream post like the one we shot prior at Dylan’s Candy Bar. I would of let the boys get dripping dirty in ice cream for sure, but they acted a bit more mature this time. Comes just to prove how quickly they are growing. On Friday my mother, the kids and I went out scouting for new shoot locations. The heat that day was absolutely killer, so we quickly took refuge at this colorful shop that seemed so inviting. I literally said as I was walking in, “oooh how pretty”. The boys went nuts when they spotted the toy train they have right by the coolers. Matthew in particular couldn’t scream car loud enough. That was before they spotted the many walls filled with all sorts of toys. This is the kind of place that attracts children 100% because of one thing or another. Not interested in ice cream, no problem, they have plenty of other snacks. I can already picture myself bringing them here after a day at school. Letting them pick out a toy and ice cream. The ultimate afternoon treat.
That puckered lip just kills me.
I look at them and they seem so grown up already. Makes me happy/sad, but mostly sad to think of it. Such independent little boys wanting to do everything themselves. My momma heart just suffers seeing time escape me. I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday! xoxo
1. I love your blog posts.
2. Your words are as beautiful as your photographs.
3. You make me want twins!
I agree with your happy/sad sentiments of our children growing up faster than we can understand.
Thanks Patty! Can’t wait for our session this week! 🙂
