It seems as if two years ago, all my friends and I decided that we would be getting pregnant months apart from each other. A big trail of babies begun and every other month someone was welcoming their little bundle of joy. Nowadays they are all up for round two and I’m sitting over here like.. I really want to join in the baby bump phase… BUT I can wait until you all catch up to having two. That baby fever is so tough to fight off though! The first of my lovely friends to welcome into their family a second baby is Yeily and Hansel. Things couldn’t of worked out more perfectly since she was expecting a baby sister for Olivia and future best friend. Olivia even picked out a name for her that no matter how much you mentioned that the baby was going to be named Allison, she would still call her Valentina. Many months of waiting and asking when she would get to meet her baby sister, the day had arrived.
Unlike most births I have photographed, this one we knew just when we would be meeting baby Alli. A scheduled c-section gives you the flexibility of choosing your baby’s birth date (unless they decide to arrive early of course) and leaves us with little guessing room. Allison was a really good girl and waited right until the day they had set to bring her into this world. Anxiously the family, especially Olivia, waited in the hospital’s waiting room for news that Allison had arrived. Usually I am on the other side of the story, but watching this part made me realize that no matter where you are during the time a family is welcoming a child into the family there are emotional moments happening. This is Allison Valentina’s birth story.

I put together a birth video of all the in between moments that Yeily wasn’t there to see. As if you needed further proof from the pictures, Olivia was really excited to meet baby Valentina, I mean Allison… 🙂
