Maddison at the park

The first time I met little Maddison she was just a day old at the hospital. Teeny tiny in her mother’s arms. Even though it would take them a couple of days to get the hang of having a daughter, I could tell from the way Steph looked at her that they would be best friends. Her precious little one. Dad had a new princess and things had forever changed for them all. Fast forward to a year from then, we all hung out at Tree Tops Park to capture what Maddie looks like now, a soon-to-be toddler with lots of sass. I couldn’t get over how much she liked to dance when I turned up the music… she was TOO much! I’m quite sure that in the photos that she’s smiling she’s laughing 100% at me for all the silly things I was doing to make her notice me, and that the parents… well they thought I was nuts too. We honestly couldn’t of asked for a better day for their family session, the weather was perfect, the sky gave us that golden glow I love at sunset, it wasn’t hot at all, barely anyone there at park… overall such an awesome session. It was such a pleasure having an afternoon with you all. In honor of writing this post preview and all the editing I’ve done today, I am going to treat myself to the Starbucks I said I would have after the session and didn’t. I hope Eliu had his! There’s something about that last image I love so much. I know it would be totally weird to have it printed in my house, so I’m going to have someone come with me and the kids to that lake soon…
