Becoming a mom, the most life changing experience a woman will ever feel… or at least that’s what it was like for me. Everything changed once I had my own babies. All the notions I thought I knew about parenting, how much I thought I would love my child, the importance and perspective of most things… I hardly recognize the me that I am now compared to five years ago. The change has been so wonderful, something that I have welcomed with open arms and continuously give thanks for. This big change is about to happen to someone in our family and I cannot wait to see her evolve as a mother. My sister-in-law’s sister ( tongue twister there ) is expecting her first baby girl and we can’t wait to meet her! We spent the morning at the beach hoping the rain would hold out long enough for us to document this special time in their lives. And in true Miami fashion, we were pleasantly surprised when the rain clouds revealed the prettiest of sunrises behind them. Oh that glow and wind… I was in such a happy place at 7 am and with no coffee I add. These were my favorites from Keren’s maternity session with me.
