Last week my husband and I both traveled to Tampa for business and decided it would be a good idea to bring along the boys for a family road trip. If only we could do so for every meeting. I was even pushing for a weekend-stay but given that the next day we both had places to be it became a very short visit. On our way back we stopped in Sarasota to grab some dinner on the go. But before we left I made sure to convince the guys for a little walk around Sarasota’s Bayfront Park. The boys had never been to a marina or seen a boat up close so they were in for a special treat. To my surprise they were more excited to see the water, since they both love the ocean and anything that will make them wet. We took a stroll and just enjoyed the beautiful day. There’s something about the sun in the west coast… always seems like it shines more golden than anywhere else.
Look at me blogging during a birth session… that’s right I am currently sitting next to Yesi waiting to meet baby Derek. I can’t wait to share their baby’s story! Such a sweet and beautiful family. It’s a wonderful privilege to be invited to witness the miracle of seeing a little human come into the world. Can’t say thank you enough to all you mommas that choose me out of all those other folks out there to document that most important day.
