Vista Lago Ballroom Wedding

Happy Thursday my sweet friends! I can’t believe spring is already here which also means that for us Miamians it’s wedding season… all my brides that thought, 2017 is still a year away… well gals, the day comes much faster than we expect! I hope you all are as happy planning out the details as I get the day I get to photograph them. I am loving all the sessions I have been working on lately and this one in particular is no exception. This past weekend I had the privilege of documenting Chelsea & Gabriel’s wedding day and I’m so excited to share it with you all.

It was the typical South Florida weather kind of day, on the verge of raining, and then not so much, and back to that beautiful sun we love. Chelsea was completely calm hanging out with her friends as the all got ready in her home. The rain was not going to be a factor here. With six bridesmaids in the house, there was lots of girl talk, makeup and hairspray to pass around and I loved watching how they all went from we’re the cool gang to OMG it’s time to get ready. The groom on the other hand, I overheard said he was nervous. Oh Gabe, she made you wait didn’t she? Their love was celebrated with all their family and friends as they happily shared their vows. Watching Gabriel’s dad officiate the wedding was a highlight since the tone of his words were as loving as if he was sitting with them somewhere private giving them advice. Alas the newlyweds headed to party with all their guest at their reception venue, Vista Lago Ballroom. They partied until the very end and overall had ‘the best day ever’!

Chelsea and Gabriel, thank you for inviting us into your life and trusting us with this special moment in your lives. From the moment I took those engagement photos and saw how lovely you two were I was already looking forward to this day. You two are a perfect compliment to each other and I am sure that all your family and friends agree. They all love you dearly and it’s not hard to see why. Thank you, thank you.
