The morning before I headed back to Miami, while arriving to shoot Kristin’s Motherhood Journey video, Laura had one request, “Do you have time to shoot my kids and I?” Yes, of course I have time. ( My poor mother’s epic outlet shopping trip went out the window and she was once again babysitting for a full day of picture goodness. It must be said though that come Tuesday morning, we shopped until she was absolutely tired and ready to board our plane home. ) Laura herself was visiting from out of town her family that lives in Baton Rouge and we did the shoot at their place. It might as well been her home because grandma’s house welcomes all. I love how quickly we set up everything and how well it all turned out. There wasn’t any time spent on outfit coordination or whether or not everyone’s clothes matched perfectly. She used what she brought along with her on her trip and it worked out so perfectly. A natural session at it’s best. That top picture has quickly become one of my all time favorites, if you haven’t already noticed throughout the website and blog, and I’m sure it will continue to be so throughout the years. I had an amazing day shooting these little ones with their momma who loves them so very much. Can’t wait to do it again, but this time in Georgia!
Website launch day was such a success! I am so extremely happy with this new home! Thank you all for your text messages, phone calls and comments through Instagram. I am so glad you all like it too!
