It’s a very special privilege when a mom welcomes you to her home, to her family, to her everyday life and asks you to be her eyes noticing all that makes her heart smile. I feel that it connects us as mothers since I am constantly searching for those moments that I know I would adore if they were my loved ones. These lifestyle sessions I love to do are always different from one another since no two families are the same and I love that about it. Walking in to the session I never know what to expect or what she will have up her sleeve for the littles. This family session that I am about to show you all in particular is a representation of what a Sunday morning would be like in the Child household. I’ve chosen my favorites of our day together to share with you and here they are:
“I love Sunday Mornings. I love the cuddling in bed and the fact that the day is for us to enjoy together as a family. Life is busy and hectic in our house, especially during the week and I must admit is very easy to overlook some snuggling time now and then. Being a working mom is hard since I have to coordinate and work extra hard to keep my house in order. I am usually exhausted by the end of the day, but the truth is no matter how tired I am, I always Thank God for blessing me with such beautiful family. Before having my kids my life was in perfect order and yes I had time to spare, but the way I see it is motherhood comes with all kinds of challenges and disarray that sometimes is easy to lose control … and that’s totally ok, it is all worth it at the end of the day.. It teaches us humility and patience and gives us an entire purpose and meaning to our lives.” – Marlit
How cool is she for having the kiddos enjoy their first full-blown pillow fight while I was there to capture the fun?! I am sure they are still finding feathers around the house, they had a blast!
Breakfast means mom is mixing up some arepas…
Marlit, thank you once again for allowing me into your lovely home to capture sweet moments of your children. Those two munchkins are such treasures!
Thanks Abigail ! Love them all..
Marlit
