It was a humid rainy morning as I headed to Matheson Hammock Park for this maternity session. I had just photographed at wedding the day before and waking up at 5:30 am was really, really tough. But once again, Starbucks saved the day. I drove knowing it was about to rain but hoping it would blow over soon. It rained during the session and we hid. About five minutes later we had the sun… beautiful golden sun.
Susy is expecting her first baby this month, Lucas. Photographing her was a photographer’s dream. She worked the camera from every angle so effortlessly. The one thing that was so effortless was my Spanish. You would think that since I was raised in a Spanish-speaking household I would know at least the posing lingo well. I don’t, and I need to practice. Since Susy only speaks Spanish, the following words are just for her and my Spanish-speaking readers:
I might of totally killed it once again, but we will let my mother read it and have the pleasure of correcting my spelling and grammar. Motherhood looks great on Susy and I cannot wait to meet little Lucas. Here are a few of my favorites from our morning together at Matheson Hammock Park.
*Special thanks to Massiel for coordinating everything for us. 🙂 I hope you all have a wonderful week and stay tuned for tomorrow’s #twintuesday!
