Last month my husband had a business trip to Tampa scheduled and we decided to make it a family outing. I didn’t want him driving alone those four hours so naturally I made sure the boys and I kept him company. Sam came along as well and we even had ourselves a mini-sesh by the docks, you can see pictures of us here. While D was busy chatting away business, I met up with an Instagram friend / twin mom in the area. I love how social media can bring you closer to people and you can easily feel that you aren’t the only one experiencing any kind of situation because someone else out there is too. Talking to her about what it was like in the early days with William and Matthew made it seem like that was just ages ago. Why did my babies have to grow up so fast! I would of never thought I would be the one giving baby twins advice. Ah M & W are such a blessing. I know Samay feels the same way about her Lucca & Liam. Having twin babies is the best feeling in the world. Your heart doesn’t know what to do with so much love at once.
Watching her and her little ones, how they still both fit in her hands and how holding them close is so easy at this point because they aren’t antsy to run off and play made me miss that baby stage so much. I say this all the time, but being around newborns gives me such a baby fever. It was a lovely meet and I’m so glad I brought my camera along to take some sweet memories for her.
