I’m probably already mid-air by the time this post goes live… on the way to capture Kristin’s next milestone in her motherhood journey. It’s been quite the exciting almost eight years of working together and every single time I get that message, “we’re having a baby” or better said, “Abby you ready to come back to Louisiana?” I immediately start dreaming up all the pictures I know we are going to create. If you haven’t already landed on that page, I dedicated a section to just them and what it’s like having a single photographer be the person that follows along in your family’s journey. It’s now called Growing with AV but you can definitely make reference to it as Kristin’s Motherhood Journey. The last time I was in Louisiana capturing their family photos, Kristin and I sat down to talk about what it was like that first time I was in the delivery room with for her second child, Luke’s birth. ( You can watch that video here ) I went home thinking how great it would be to get one more chance to do that all over, photograph and film another baby… and turns out a couple months later Kristin was pregnant again. 🙂 This visit will be extra special since I will be photographing what may be her last pregnancy.. baby Lorelei. I honestly can’t wait until February and I know it will be here before we all know it. Just because of my excitement today, I wanted to share a couple of pictures of our time together throughout the years:
That little teaser trailer makes me so happy. 😁 There are other sessions we’ve done together that have yet to make it on to this blog and I will posting those later on as throwback sessions. Once I decided to start abigailvigoa.com as a fresh start I lost the chronological order of Kristin’s sessions, but I’ve made it a goal to still transfer all of them here. Not only do I love looking back at the not so little babies any more, but seeing myself grow. My shooting style, technique and editing keeps evolving and with them its the perfect way to see just how it is I’ve grown too… my little muse family. Can’t wait to see what we come up with today.
For all my Miami friends, I will be answering emails and returning calls on Monday once I get back. Have a great weekend everyone!
