JENNY & LUIS · Miami, FL

Miami Traditional Wedding

I have yet to share with you all their beautiful engagement session that we shot on a vintage sailboat in Key Biscayne, but as I edited their wedding day photos I fell in love with their portrait time that I felt compelled to post. Great engagement sessions prepare the wedding day portrait time so that every minute we get together counts as if it was double because we are just in the rhythm of what we have already accomplished together. Jenny and Luis were so clearly comfortable with one another and in front of the camera that what I truly focused on was showcasing their personalities as they explored this beautiful area we were in. Somehow we all forgot about the rain and the dirt below and all you wanted to see was Jenny in that beautiful lace gown of hers floating through all the green.

IRALYS & JAHDIEL · KEY BISCAYNE, FL

Kendall Indian Hammocks Park Wedding

I remember that phone call we had when she said she was changing her wedding date so that I could be the one to document it… little did I know when I shot her engagements that she would also become my bride. It’s sometimes a very sad thing to reach out to one of your favorite vendors only to hear a “Sorry, we’re already booked.” It happens a lot when the wedding day you pre-select happens to fall during wedding season. But my lovely bride here was going to make this happen… she moved over the date and I was so thrilled that we would get to work together again. Iralys is one of the girls in this circle of friends that I have shot weddings for.

JOANNA & CHARLIE · DAVIE, FL

Robbins Lodge Park Wedding

Good morning friends! The next wedding was the perfect combination of natural meets DIY with a whimsical flare. It’s no secret that Robbins Lodge in Davie, FL is one of the most charming venues for small intimate weddings and we were thrilled for the opportunity to photograph an event there. Right from the moment I met Joanna and Charlie I knew they would be such an easy and lovely couple to work with. From their best friend story to the little details of how she declared her feelings only to then have an elevator door separate them, to how he proposed and surprised her and ultimately to how she described she wanted her day to be. She was definitely the kind of bride that was meant for me.

RUTHMARY & ELIONEL · NAPLES, FL

The Pavilion Naples Wedding

On the prettiest of days in the charming city of Naples, wedding planner Abby Lopez orchestrated her bride’s Ruthmary dream wedding. All the intricate details from the stationary to the reception and that stunning cake display, were not only expertly planned but showered with so much love. This couple was going to have the perfect best. day. ever. Ruthmary and Elionel were all about spending as much time together documenting all the moments that made their wedding day special… not only did we have a first look before the ceremony but a bridal portrait session afterwards as well. Photographers heaven in other words, lots and lots of things for us to go crazy taking pictures of. And that we did my friends.

YORDANA & JORGE · MIAMI, FL

Outdoor Bridals Miami Wedding

When we first met up to plan Yordana and Jorge’s wedding day she barely had any of the details sorted out other than her wedding date. She was certain that she wanted outdoor portraits and hoped that once her day would come she would have golden warm light… and friends, thats exactly what she was blessed with on her wedding day. Gorgeous warm light. I had the greatest time with them as the soaked in the “we’re married” feeling before rejoining their family and friends at their wedding reception. This was my second Carrasco family wedding so reconnecting with familiar faces and seeing everyone rejoice once again for their precious Yordy was a special treat. I hope you both are enjoying the start of your new life in Naples and that you will always still come back to our neck of the woods and it will still feel like home.
