Miami Wedding Portraits

There are times when everything that makes up a session comes together so perfectly. Beautiful couple, gorgeous gown, sunny morning, cool weather, and a romantic location… a photographer’s dream I tell you! Right before we headed to Costa Rica I had the privilege of shooting this sweet couple’s bridal portraits. We had just one day to make it happen, come rain or shine and our weather forecast was NOT looking good at all. But since I’m a firm believer that our weather in South Florida is so bipolar that even at times when we have a 90% prediction of sunshine you’ll be surprised with the occasional rain shower, we proceeded with our session. To our delight, the morning couldn’t of been more picture-perfect.

Fort Myers Riverside Wedding

I hope you all are in the mood for a sappy tear-jerking wedding post because the following couple has got me swooning over their pictures and not because I took them but because their love is so evidently magical. Jazmine and Axol tied the knot this  past week and everyday since then I have been editing a couple of images to put together this preview. Every single day friends, I look them all over and shed a tear when I remember their mother-son-dance because it was the one time I thought my hand was shaking so much from my tears behind the lens that honestly I was just hoping what I was capturing was in focus. Both sides of the family had such an intense bond with one another that you couldn’t help but admire their friendship and love for one another.

My dearest friends, have I got a fun wedding to share with you all today. I was excited from the very first mention of photographing Nathalie and Samuel’s wedding when they first booked with me and even more so after photographing their engagements one beautiful morning in Matheson Hammock Park. There is something about the way that Samuel looks at Nathalie that makes my photographer dreams come true for all their images. His eyes are all heart eyes just like an emoji. Their wedding day could of not been more perfect or exactly according to plan if we would of tried… amazing breezy cool weather (a big surprise for us in Miami in May) beautiful sunlight, a gorgeous getting ready location and a big loud celebration literally until the next day.

Killian Palms Country Club Wedding

 

Ismael and Kiria have been sweethearts for the past six years – (to the date, he asked her out on Earth Day and they got married on Earth Day, super cool, right?!) I first fell in love with shooting them when we got together for their engagements. Kiria’s bright bold eyes had me doing a happy dance with my camera. Everything along the way, the visit to Killian Palms Country Club last year to envision how this day would be, the Starbucks meets  talking about everything wedding and non-wedding related had now lead us to this happy and exciting day. Kiria and Ismael were tying the knot and we were thrilled to be a part of their celebration.
