FAMILY DISNEY TRIP · TWIN TUESDAYS

the Vigoas at Disney

disney family trip

Just a couple of months ago, we brought the boys to Disney World with my parents and Sam. It was their second trip but the first one doesn’t actually count since they were just babies back then. I had Samuel record lots of video footage of us so that I could later put together our first ‘family trip video’. ( If you haven’t seen it, you can watch it here. ) I think I play this for the boys at least twice a week still. Love seeing their little excited faces. But sadly everyone (meaning D, Sam and my parents) felt that the trip was purely meant for pictures and they didn’t get to “

Knaus Berry Farm

Knaus Berry Farm, until just this week I had yet to of experienced such delicious treats so close to home. A forty-five minute drive into Homestead on a beautiful morning to escape the routine turned out as the perfect stop for us. Just when I thought I wasn’t going to be posting another #vigoatwins post this week, I had to share these sweet pictures of the munchkins enjoying the sticky goodness we enjoyed. If you’ve been there before you will agree that the long line is well worth the wait. If you have yet to visit or haven’t even heard of the place, the next time you are up for a little bit of a drive out of the city,

my blue-eyed boys

Things never seem to go according to plan whenever we make big plans ahead of time. That’s just not our family. Our family shifts and changes their mind about twice as much as others do. Our anniversary weekend went nothing as I had originally planned. Zero. Every prior plan was thrown out the window when D was called out the night before for an emergency service at work. We decided then to take off to the Keys. Well the morning of we stayed in bed a bit too long and figured it was too late to drive four hours to get there. Goodbye keys. So how did we celebrate? We spent the day with our kids and the night to ourselves.

be still, my heart.

It’s amazing to look back at what these past three years have been like in comparison to the rest of my life. Was I even really living then? Sure I had my wonderful moments, but I honestly believe that everything came together for me when my husband D and I started dating. Sometimes teenage girls that I know will talk to me about my family. “Oh Abby, you guys have the perfect life. Perfect family. Perfect job… how did you know that he was the one?” Quite frankly every time this happens I wish I could bare my broken little soul and tell them all about how perfection doesn’t exist and how I wasn’t always in this happy bubble,

Exploring West Palm Beach

Ladies, I seriously cannot believe we are already in November 2016. I really can’t keep with time anymore. Right when it feels I just blogged #twintuesday its time to do it again! This past weekend we had our Increase Your Faith in Jehovah! assembly in West Palm Beach, FL. The boys behaved so much better than they did during our three day convention that I hope we are headed uphill from here on. After the program we took off to have dinner together with my family and as we explored around we took a couple of snaps that I will be sharing with you today. Our hair isn’t as put together, and you may notice the boy’s ties are a bit all over the place,
