“My life began when Emma came into it! She has changed my life forever! The gift of motherhood is something so amazing and I am grateful and thankful to have her in my life and that Jehova choose me to be her mom!”

I was so surprised to see Veronica and Jesse pull in to the parking lot where we set out to meet at 6:30 AM the day of our shoot. No delays, no running behind, this momma had everything and everyone together just in time for us to catch the sunrise. Baby Emma wasn’t quite sure what to make of our early adventure that was until she saw the water. Isn’t that something? How do certain things make babies happy?

In a house full of boys sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have another little Abby running around with pig-tails and a Barbie in tow. Growing up I had always said I wanted three sons, no girls, because I wanted to be the only girl. Having William and Matthew has changed that for me. Not because I wish they were girls, NOT AT ALL, but because I wish D had himself a little princess. Every time I watch dad’s with their little girls I want that for my own husband, someone that will make him melt. The boys already do that to me on the regular.. its his turn to be silly putty. Working with this family was watching the princess in action…

“Being a mother has been a blessing in so many ways. Almost ten years ago I learned the kind of love that I never knew existed. I am grateful to have felt that kind of love three different times. My children teach me new things everyday, whether is to stop and appreciate the little things in life or they actually teach me about something I had no clue about.  They are each loving, funny and kind in their own little way. ..a kind of way only a mother understands. Being able to witness how each of their characters develop everyday is a gift that I don’t take for granted.  At times challenging but with my best friend by my side we make the best of it and there is nothing I would change for the world.”
