She said she didn’t mind waking up really early for a sunrise session at the beach because they’re young. Something that later on he tells me is a big deal for her since she’s not a morning person, but come picture day, she was up at four AM. The first time I worked with this sweet young couple was when I shot their bridals in a crop field. Pictures that I have not soon forgotten because there’s this one picture that makes me want to blow it up and put it in my bedroom, but I don’t because I’m pretty sure my husband would think thats pretty weird having Joel and Yianny staring at us while we go to sleep.

There is something so special about a couple in love. The way the seem to glow just being together. The way the express their love for one another. You just feel happy to be around  them because their warmth and joy rubs off on you. Whenever I have the privilege of shooting engagement photos for couples that are just over the moon for each other they add a bit of sparkle to my day. I leave their session feeling more in love myself. I had the most wonderful day this past weekend documenting Milen & Yosvany’s engagement portraits. I was so excited to get them in front of our cameras and I can’t wait for you all to see their pictures.

At fifteen years old, that quiet skater boy seemed like quite the cutie to Kiria. Little did she know back then, he would be the love of her life. Something about each other clicked back at the time… maybe it was Kiria’s make up skills and her killer eyeliner or the way that little by little the quiet boy was making an effort to talk to her. First and forever love. Straight off of a Nicholas Sparks book. This couple has grown together as individuals meshing the ties of their love into every memory. They have been there through high school, family trips, they have explored just about all South Florida’s fishing spots and watched every movie to ever come out in theaters together.
